Our story

The Training Bureau is an NZQA registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) specialising in practical hospitality related training.

We have been delivering LCQ training since 1997 when the company was known as the Liquor Licensing Bureau and first received NZQA registration. In that time we have helped over 20,000 people obtain their LCQ with a 96% pass rate.

Currently, we deliver LCQ by Correspondence or live online Zoom courses anywhere in New Zealand; and Classroom courses in Blenheim, Hamilton, Napier, Nelson, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Queenstown, Rotorua, Taupo, and Tauranga.
